With its physical therapy and occupational therapy departments, the Rehabilitation Center is fully equipped to provide patients of all ages with care delivered by our team of experts, who assess and treat all patients according to
their individual goals and limitations in order to reduce illness and injury.

We rehabilitate both the body and mind to ensure relief for symptoms associated with injuries, ultimately aiming to restore patients to full health, as well as advising them on the most effective ways to reduce any potential injury recurrence.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Our diagnosis and individualized treatment procedures are carried out by our team of rehabilitative medicine specialists and other associated experts, meaning you can be confident in the seamless and continuous care delivered by this interdisciplinary team of professionals.
We offer you a comprehensive service of physical therapy focusing on prevention , health promotion , treatment and rehabilitation based on assessment and diagnosis for everybody in all ages or genders. Our physical therapists are licensed professionals , well experienced and also continuing educate with training course of manual techniques and modern physical therapy equipment.  
Manual Therapy - Hands on treatment to apply pressure on joints and soft tissues such as muscles and ligaments to reduce pain and dysfunction , increase range of motion. Improving blood and lymph flow in order to reduce swelling and inflammation. 

Postural correction to reduce abnormal alignments movements. Dealing with both acute and chronic conditions.

• Innovative equipment and techniques combine with clinical expertise and research that help lessen pain and expedite recovery.


o Deep heat therapy –Utilization of physical therapy equipment such as ultrasound therapy, shortwave, and targeted radiofrequency therapies to deliver heat to deep tissues in order to increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension.

o Cryotherapy – Utilization of local cold therapy such as Cryo-flow, cold pack to reduce pain, inflammation and reduce muscle tension. 

o Electrotherapy – The use of electrical stimulation devices in various frequency which can  apply to variety treatment such as reduce pain, reduce muscle tension and increase muscle power. 

o Laser Therapy – The Use of non-invasive and painless method of both high power and low power laser therapy to reduce swelling by increasing blood circulation and promoting faster healing.

o Mechanical traction therapy – Traction is a form of decompression therapy that using mechanical device to relieve pressure on the spine, stretch muscles and alleviates pain.


o Neurac Methods - consists of therapeutic exercise in Redcord slings. The goal is to painlessly restore movement patterns and to improve function. Restores muscle coordination by focuses on treating the actual causes of a patient’s problem, not just the symptoms.


o C-Mill with virtual feedback - The instrumented treadmill for gait and balance training using treadmill movement, augmented reality and virtual reality, offering multi-sensory input and enjoyment at the same time.
 
o Robotic-assisted Gait Training – Use of specific programs of training sessions to improve the effectiveness for walking rehabilitation in patients.
  • Individualized exercise program – With the belief that we all have different abilities and conditions regarding exercising, including gender, age, society, occupation, culture and traditions, we offer exercise programs specially designed as appropriate for each individual to achieve rapid and safe physical and mental recovery.   • Training program for paralysis patients
  • Patients with degeneration of brain tissue and nerve endings. Such as Parkinson's patients, acute muscle weakness, etc.

The Occupational Therapy Department focuses on training patients with physical, mental, and learning disabilities to stimulate activities of daily living through various activities, which, in turn, stimulate the brain and nerve system. The Department’s well-experienced occupational therapists with professional licenses, who have been continuously trained in health promotion to keep improving treatment quality, also rely on their special techniques in helping adjust the environment and develop accessories so that patients can properly perform various activities in their daily lives. 


Occupational therapy treatment program
  • Hand function training program – 
The program aims to promote and restore the ability of small hand muscles impaired by diseases, and practice controlling movement correlations and increase muscle power with a variety of tools including Rejoyce workstation, Biometrics E-LINK, Tyrostation.
  • Swallowing screening test and training program – 
This program is for people with difficulty swallowing such as patients with stroke, head and neck cancer, dementia patients, and pediatric patients with difficulty feeding and swallowing. It begins with assessment and testing of swallowing ability, assessment of types of food and drinks suiting the patient's abilities, training on special swallowing techniques, recommending proper posture while swallowing, and muscle exercises. Tools used in stimulating swallowing muscles include VitalStim therapy and Rephagia system with biofeedback.
  • Perceptual-cognitive test and training program
This program provides evaluation through on standardized assessment forms and provide treatment through activities specifically developed and designed for an individual's problems, including restorative approaches to retrain memory, thinking and decision-making abilities using games and computer programs, and compensatory approaches where routine activities are applied to daily activities.
  • Developmental screening test and training program –
This program provides activities to stimulate sensory integration together with treatment in the Snoezelen room to improve efficiency. The Snoezelen room provides multisensory stimulating environment to enhance the six important basic senses: vision, hearing, smell, touch, balance, and the perception of ligaments, bones, and joints. It helps children feel calm, relaxed, and aware of learning and concentrate better. The developmental screening test: Denver 2 (Thai edition) is also available. Plans are also designed to promote age-appropriate development in all aspects for children, whether they have developmental delays, physical disabilities, Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), or Down's syndrome. Also available are assessment and training to prepare children for school including skills in taking care of themselves, in doing daily activities, and in using small muscles. For example, children may be trained how to properly hold a pen or a pencil when writing.  
  • Activities for Daily Living Training 
This training program is available for all age groups. Evaluation and recommendations can be made regarding modifications of home and environmental conditions to suit the patient's abilities. Consultation can be provided regarding caution and ADL techniques for those patients having undergone knee or joint replacement surgery. 
  • Splint design and fabrication - 
Splints are designed and fabricated to support injured joints and muscles to give them some rest. Accessories are used in adjusting posture and supporting hand function. Some may be modified or fabricated to facilitate activities of daily living such as spoons and forks and tooth brushes with handles with extra grip.  


 
  • Provides pulmonary function testing  services with advanced pulmonary function testing equipment, helping doctors make an accurate diagnosis and plan for safe and proper treatment for patients. 
  • Provides body composition analysis services, measuring the human body’s components such as fat, muscles, bones, as well as body water and minerals. Evaluates body balance and nutritional status, improving health care planning and accuracy in diagnosing disease risks.
