The RSA Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic visits community near Ban Don Mosque

On May 16, 2024, the R-SA Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic of Bumrungrad International Hospital, the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation, and the Thomson Fund visited residents living near the Ban Don Mosque to provide general medical services.


On May 16, 2024, the R-SA Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic of Bumrungrad International Hospital, the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation, and the Thomson Fund visited residents living near the Ban Don Mosque to provide general medical services. This visit by the mobile clinic was seen as a step towards improving public healthcare in the community surrounding the Ban Don Mosque. The mobile clinic was honored to have His Excellency Mr. Arun Boonchom, the 19th Sheikul Islam of the Kingdom of Thailand, give an opening speech during the opening ceremony.

The R-SA Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic has been providing primary care services at no cost to people in communities surrounding Bangkok since 2001, with the support of the Thomson Fund. Medical services include internal medicine, orthopedics, and pediatrics, among others. Experienced medical personnel provide expert treatment, care, and screenings. Patients of the mobile clinic are also provided with take-home medicine kits. During this visit to the Bon Don Mosque, 344 people in total were provided with medical care and services. 

The Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation knows the importance of improving the quality and standards of public health services. An important goal of the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation is sustainability.
