Clinical Information (ข้อมูลทางคลินิก):
Clinicians are re-thinking to colistin as therapeutic option for the treatment of severe infections caused by multidrug-resistant microorganisms, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales. However, colistin-resistant strains are worldwide disseminated leading to the need to determine the value of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) befor the drug is prescribes.
