Buccal swab sample
In the event where a sample was not adequately collected, damaged upon arrival to the lab or forms were not filled in their entirety you will be resupplied with a new buccal swabs for sample recollection.

HLA-A and HLA-B Genotyping for determining human leukocyte antigens (HLA) type that related to the risk of drug-induced hypersensitivity;
- HLA-A*31:01 before Carbamazepine therapy
- HLA-B*13:01 before Dapsone therapy (Leprosy drug, antibiotics)
- HLA-B*15:02 before Carbamazepine, Oxcarbazepine, Phenytoin, Co-trimoxazole therapy (seizures, neuropathic pain, trigeminal neuralgia drug)
- HLA-B*35:05 before Nevirapine therapy (HIV/AIDS drug)
- HLA-B*57:01 before Abacavir therapy (HIV/AIDS drug)
- HLA-B*58:01 before Allopurinol therapy (Gout drug)
