Bumrungrad International Hospital Donates Ten Colonoscopy Machines to Rajavithi Hospital

On December 12, 2024, Bumrungrad International Hospital donated 10 sets of colonoscopy machines, worth over 80 million baht, to Rajavithi Hospital. This project has been supported by the Board of Investment (BOI).

The aim of the project is to distribute the machines to major hospitals in districts across the country, ensuring that the public has better access to colorectal cancer screening, reducing waiting times, and minimizing the distance patients need to travel. The goal is to contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare.

Colonoscopies are currently the standard and best method for colorectal cancer screening. The hospital hopes that this donation will help improve the lives of many people around the country.

The donation was presented by Ms. Oraphan Buamuang, Chief Financial Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital, on behalf of the hospital, at Rajavithi Digestive Endoscopy Center.
