Eye problems have big consequences when it comes to quality of life. They can affect our ability to navigate our day-to-day responsibilities. And they affect people of all ages and genders. Bumrungrad understands the dangers eye conditions pose, and hence has recently hosted the ‘Eye Excellence Center: Living Life with Preserving Perfect Vision’ press event to raise awareness of proper eye care and eye disorder prevention.

Our eyes are one of our most important and complex sensory organs, and so it is important to take proper care of them as we age.

The Bumrungrad Eye Excellence Center is ready to comprehensively treat all eye disorders in patients of all ages — from the simplest to the most complex cases, including damage due to severe trauma or injury. The center’s specialists include cornea specialists, retina specialists, and eye muscle specialists, and for the more complex cases involving comorbidities, the center’s ophthalmologists will coordinate with the other doctors such as endocrinologists, neurologists, and pharmacists, among other specialists, during treatment. All the doctors and medical professionals on staff make use of the most modern tools in diagnosis. They perform treatments quickly and accurately.

At the press conference, Mrs. Artirat Charukitpipat, Chief Executive Officer at Bumrungrad International Hospital, gave the opening speech. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taveesin Tanprayoon, Chief Medical Officer at Bumrungrad International Hospital, Dr. Maytinee Sirimaharaj, Director of the Eye Excellence Center and ophthalmologist specializing in the retina and vitreous, Assoc.
