On November 7th, 2024, Bumrungrad International Hospital had the honor of being the host for the “FNM 2024 Thai Touch Party by Bumrungrad,” organized in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Neurogastroenterology and Motility at Chulalongkorn University. The event celebrated the success of the 5th Federation of Neurogastroenterology and Motility Meeting (FNM 2024).

The atmosphere at the event was filled with enjoyment and showcased a unique Thai identity that was truly impressive. The opening performance featured the Joe Louis Thai Puppet Theatre, followed by music performed by Khun Jirapan Ansvananda, one of the founders of the Thai band “Butterfly,” and his band. The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok hotel.

Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital, graciously delivered the opening speech and welcomed over 600 esteemed experts in the field of neurogastroenterology and motility from around the world to the meeting. She also stated that this event provides a significant opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn from and network with global scholars and specialists.

In addition, Professor Sutep Gonlachanvit, MD, Director of both the Center of Excellence in Neurogastroenterology and Motility at Chulalongkorn University and the Gastrointestinal Motility Center at Bumrungrad International Hospital, Chairman and Host of FNM 2024, also express his gratitude to Bumrungrad International Hospital for its support and thanked Professor Xiaohua Hou, MD, PhD, President of Asian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association, Co-host of FNM 2024, as well as Professor Max Schmulson, MD, from The Sociedad Latinoamericana de Neurogastroenterología (SLNG), who will host FNM 2026, for their amazing contribution.
