- A 24/7 dedicated Japanese Language Contact Center, operational since June 28, 2023, manages calls and chats in Japanese for appointments and inquiries. Moreover, Bumrungrad now provides one-on-one telemedicine services between patients and the hospital, and caters to appointment scheduling and inquiries via the Japanese language Bumrungrad LINE Official Account from 7:00 to 19:00 (Thailand time).
In a recent landmark achievement, Bumrungrad hosted its inaugural medical symposium with TOKUSHUKAI Medical Group. Renowned physicians from both globally recognized healthcare institutions discussed the latest medical technologies not yet introduced in their respective countries. Bumrungrad contributed its expertise in "
Genetic Cardiac Arrhythmia Treatment through the EP Ablation Technique (Brugada syndrome, etc.)" and "
Atrial Fibrillation Ablation." Simultaneously, TOKUSHUKAI physicians shared insights on "Tricuspid Valve Repair Using the da Vinci Surgical Robotic System" and "Total Replacement of the Entire Aorta Using Stent Graft and Open Surgical Aortic Replacement for Chronic Thoracoabdominal Aortic Dissection."
Dr. Takeki OHASHI, Vice President and Head of Cardiovascular Surgery Department at Nagoya Tokushukai General Hospital, expressed his delight at collaborating with Bumrungrad International Hospital during this symposium. Dr. Kazuo KATO, Chief Medical Officer and President of the Cardiology Center at Tokushukai General Hospital, extended his appreciation for the chance to collaborate with Prof. Dr. Koonlawee Nademanee, Cardiologist and Director of the Bumrungrad Heart Institute.
