On February 16, 2025, the charity run, “Bumrungrad Race to Heal 2025” Presented by the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation” took place. The event had three categories in total for runners to sign up for: the Family Run, which was 2.5 kilometers, the Fun Run, which was 5 kilometers, and the Mini Marathon, which was 10 kilometers. The event took place at Chatuchak Park. This was the second time Bumrungrad held a running event, with the first being the Bumrungrad Run for Health 2023 which took place two years prior. All proceeds of the event went towards the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation.

Mr. Barry Wolfman, Senior Executive Director of Operations at Bumrungrad International Hospital, said, “For more than 45 years, Bumrungrad has delivered international standard, safe and effective medical care and excellent treatment experiences for our patients. As we place great emphasis on promoting good health and preventing disease, our charity running event was certain to continue and be held for a second time. The goal of the event was to promote good health as well as to strengthen our organizational culture, which is important for sustainable growth.”

Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital as well as Director and Secretary of the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation said, “The Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation has continuously carried out charitable activities to support society, delivering compassionate healthcare in line with the organization’s values. It continues the mission of Mr. Chai Sophonpanich, Chairman of the Board, who once said, “Business should not only be for profit, it must also benefit society.” This is especially reflected in the continuation of the “Rak Jai Thai” project, in collaboration with the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra. This initiative helps provide heart surgery for underprivileged children born with congenital heart defects. The Foundation has assisted in providing surgeries for up to 830 children with congenital heart defects.”
