On October 30th, 2024, Bumrungrad International Hospital and the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation held their 5th R-SA Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic visit of the year. This time, the clinic went to the Ramkhamhaeng 39 community and nearby areas in the Wang Thonglang District of Bangkok. Mr. Krongkan Jeamjeragul, the Director of Wang Thonglang District, gave the opening speech.
The mobile clinic team included seven doctors from Bumrungrad’s Medical Clinic, Orthopaedics Center, Children’s Center, and Eye Center. The team also had nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, and over 60 other staff members. They provided examination and treatment services; caring for and screening patients according to their symptoms. Lunch and take-home medication kits were given to patients, and emergency supply kits were distributed to more than 100 bedridden patients. In total, the mobile clinic had over 300 visitors.
Khun Napas Paorohitya, Chief Marketing Officer at Bumrungrad International Hospital, said that this was another successful event for Bumrungrad to provide healthcare services. The hospital has been offering primary care to many communities across Thailand for over 22 years. This project is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to support the health and well-being of society.
