On September 26, 2024, the VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center, empowered by Bumrungrad International Hospital, held a press conference titled, “Unlocking the Secrets to a Longer, Healthier Life.” The press conference was held for VitalLife’s 24th anniversary and the grand opening of the newly remodeled center.
The press conference was led by Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital and Executive Director of VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center, and Polakit Teekakirikul, MD, Assistant Professor, Chief Executive Officer of VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center and Esperance, and Chief Science Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital and VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center. At the press conference, topics discussed included how the center is currently pioneering preventive and longevity medicine through having developed scientific-based healthcare guidelines while utilizing modern medical technology — to have care be more personalized for each patient.
At the press conference, there was also a “Longevity Talk,” with a panel of doctors and managements. First to speak was Suthee Siriwechdaruk, MD, Chief Administrative Officer of VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center and Esperance, who spoke about the importance of research on the causes of aging and how the development of healthcare guidelines can help slow the aging process, allowing people to live a longer, healthier life.
Next was Suwanna Suwannaphong, MD, Program Director of VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center, who spoke about the design and development of the “VitalLife Wellness Program,” and how it utilizes advanced technology and scientific insights to create healthcare plans that meet each patient’s individual needs.
And lastly, Wanviput Sanphasitvong, MD, Business Development Director of VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center, who spoke about the importance of designing a patient experience around the concept of an “Ecosystem of Care,” and applying the principles of proportion — the golden ratio — to treat patients, meaning that the patient should always be the point of focus.
The press conference was held ultimately to communicate that the center is determined to raise the level of care and to be in line with modern healthcare trends. These goals will be achieved by combining longevity medicine with cutting-edge technology and uniquely designed programs. And, of course, through the expertise of the team.
