Parkinson's disease is a slow progressive degenerative disease of the brain.

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder that occurs as a result of the degeneration of brain cells (neurodegeneration), particularly those responsible for the production of dopamine. This causes a decrease in dopamine levels which then leads to impairment of the motor system and movement.
