News from Bumrungrad International

The gift received with heartfelt thanks

The charitable program “Bumrungrad Rak Jai Thai,” created by the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation in conjunction with Bumrungrad International Hospital, the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand and Thailand’s National Health Security Office (NHSO), welcomes donations from the public in support of its efforts to help needy heart disease patients receive critical medical treatment.

The program provides free surgeries for needy Thai children and adults suffering from congenital heart defectsand valvular heart disease who lack the financial means or access to much-needed surgical treatments. A typical surgery can cost around 500,000 baht.

Bumrungrad surgeons and medical staff donate their time and medical supplies to the program, which has already performed no-cost surgeries for 361 patients from its July 2007 inception through mid-2011. The total represents over 70 percent of the program’s goal of 500 free surgeries.

If you‘d like to support the program, donations can be made via the following methods:
    •    Online at www.bumrungrad.com/onlinedonation;
    •    Via bank transfer to the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation (Bangkok Bank savings account # 197-0-111157, North Nana branch).
Please submit a copy of the transfer confirmation slip to Bumrungrad’s accounting department (located on the hospital’s 4th floor) or fax a copy to 0 2667 2031.
