Types of Headaches and Their Characteristics

Tension headache: A dull, aching pain that feels like a tight band around the head.
Migraine headache: A severe, throbbing or pulsating headache, often accompanied by nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound.
Cluster headache: Intense bouts of headache, occurring in cyclical patterns and lasting 15 minutes to several hours.
Secondary headache: A headache caused by a wide range of underlying medical conditions.
